NOTES FROM THE PRESIDENT
Our meeting on Sunday, July 11th, 4:00 p.m. at Robinaugh E.M.S. was well attended by over 20 members. Plans for "Hot Summer Nights 2010" were discussed and things are looking good.
Several members went to Urbana on the 4th and even though the heat nearly made it impossible to get around to look at all the entries, the show was one of their best. I hope ours is as big. Their 50/50 was over $1100! I congratulate them on a great show.
Duane & Family joined me in a trip to Wapak for their downtown cruise-in. Their PA system was great. They have speakers throughout the downtown area they could tap into. You could hear the music and announcements everywhere. It would be nice if Bellefontaine had such a set-up.
It looks like we will have nearly the same number of awards as last year. Dash plaques, shirts, and awards are ordered and look great! Thanks to all of you for your help in getting sponsors and judges.
Our next meeting will be August 12th at John & Lori Truesdale's,2216 Rd. 198, at 6:00 p.m. It will be a carry-in supper. John & Lori will provide the meat. Bring your own drinks and service. We will have the shirts, dash plaques, and goodies for those pre-registered. Don't forget, to get a free shirt, you need to pre-register before August 1st. Final plans for Saturday's show will be made, so we would like as many there as can make it.

HOT SUMMER NIGHTS 2009
We would like to thank all those from the Holland Theatre who worked so hard arranging for the vendors and entertainment. It is your work that makes the show so different than most car shows.
Each year it gets better and better. This year we were able to give the Holland Theatre a check for $3,750 and with the extra cruise-in shirts we gave them to sell, the total should be over $4,000. Thanks for everyone for their support.
If anyone has an idea to make future "Hot Summer Nights" better, please let us know.
